Three persons infected with coronavirus recovered, 312 persons who completed quarantine period have been discharged

Two citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (birthdate 1960 and 1984) who returned from Islamic Republic of Iran were tested positive for coronavirus infection. In accordance with relevant rules, those persons were placed in special treatment hospitals. Currently the patients are in good health and their condition is normal. Necessary measures are being carried out for their treatment.

Three citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan (birthdate of 1973, 1997 and 1998) who were previously tested positive for coronavirus recovered after receiving treatment in special hospitals and have already been discharged. The treatment of other persons infected with coronavirus continues in special hospitals. Their condition is under strict control.

The medical examination of the persons admitted in the quarantine zones established at various hospitals in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in the Republic of Azerbaijan and to detect cases of contracting this infection is being continued.

In accordance with recommendations of the World Health Organization, the quarantined persons undergo relevant medical examination, at the same time the specimen are taken from them for laboratory tests, and their health condition is kept under control. The persons with the confirmed contraction of the infection are immediately transferred to hospitals functioning in a special mode, and relevant measures are being taken in regard to their treatment.

As of March 10, 312 persons whose contraction of the infection hasn’t been confirmed by medical examination and laboratory tests and whose health condition doesn’t raise suspicion have completed their quarantine period and have been discharged.

Currently, the medical examination of other quarantined persons is underway.
