A meeting was held with the Ambassador of Japan to Azerbaijan at the Agency

On March 16, 2021, a meeting was held between Zaur Aliyev, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and Wada Junichi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Azerbaijan. Zaur Aliyev explained to the ambassador the activities of the Agency and the works carried out for the implementation of mandatory health insurance in the country. Z. Aliyev spoke about the great potential for the development of mutual relations between their countries in the field of healthcare, as in other spheres. The participants of the meeting exchanged views on possible cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in the field of healthcare.
