A press conference for the Medinex Medical Innovations Exhibition held

From November 3rd to 5th, 2022, the company Caspian Event Organizers will organize the Medinex Azerbaijan International Medical Innovations Exhibition and the Azerbaijan International Beauty Industry Exhibition known as Beauty Azerbaijan at the Baku Expo Center.

Medinex is a business platform that brings together healthcare professionals. Leading manufacturers (both local and international) and distributors will present their new products and services at the exhibition to assist in the improvement of health facilities and treatment efficacy.

The exhibition will bring together more than 90 companies from 12 countries such as Azerbaijan, Turkey, Belarus, Denmark, Switzerland, Italy, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Slovenia, Japan and Algeria.

At the exhibition’s press conference held today, Farrukh Ahmadov, project manager of Caspian Event Organizers (CEO), stated that the Medinex 2022 exhibition will be held with the active participation and support of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB). Zeytun Pharmaceuticals LLC is the Gold sponsor of the 2022 Medinex Exhibition. AzeriMed and Referans Clinic & Laboratory are among the sponsors of the exhibition.

F. Ahmadov stated that medical equipment, medical products, medical tourism, medical education, medicines, vitamins and dietary supplements, innovative laboratory equipment, optics, dentistry, and information technologies in medicine (amongst other topics) will be presented at the exhibition. The Beauty Industry Exhibition known as Beauty Azerbaijan will be held in parallel with the Medinex Exhibition. Products of cosmetology and aesthetic medicine, perfumery, personal hygiene products, natural cosmetics, hair and body care products, decorative cosmetics, professional cosmetics, beauty salon equipment and hairdressing tools, and more will be displayed at the exhibition.

Aynura Ahmadova, the head of the Marketing and Public Relations Department of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, stated that the exhibition will contribute to the development of new public-private partnerships and to the strengthening of communication relations: "The organization of the exhibition will promote the development of health care in Azerbaijan and the introduction of innovations based on modern practices in the field of medicine into the public and private health facilities of our country. As a result, the material supply of medical facilities will be further improved, which in turn will enable the successful implementation of mandatory health insurance in the country, improve the quality of medical services provided to the population, and increase citizen satisfaction. As you know, the main purpose of mandatory health insurance is to increase the quality and accessibility of medical services provided to the population. The introduction of new innovative technologies in the management of the healthcare system as a whole and specifically in the production of medical equipment and medicines, has greatly contributed to the implementation of mandatory health insurance which was our goal. The exhibition is a useful platform for building new cooperation relations and future development prospects."

Stating that the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance will be represented at the exhibition with a special stand, A. Ahmadova said that visitors will receive detailed information about issues related with mandatory health insurance.

Zamira Adilova, head of the Public Relations and Event Organization Department of TABIB, provided information about the events which will be held as part of the Medinex Exhibition and to be attended by experts from various fields of medicine. She stated that current problems in medicine will be discussed during the exhibition, including the application of modern technologies in laparoscopic surgery, an integrated approach to cardiovascular diseases, current topics and new test models in microbiology, the psychiatric approach to current problems of children and adolescents, requirements for dental and physiotherapeutic rooms for patients suffering from hemophilia, nutrigenetics, 3D models in medical training and medical education, early diagnosis of oncological diseases, innovative orthotic devices and their application in rehabilitation procedures, mental health services in the post-conflict period, application of stem cell-and nanotechnology-based methods in the treatment of diseases, application of artificial intelligence in the screening of tuberculosis and other lung diseases, and cell transplantation. Health professionals will make presentations, exchange ideas, and hold discussions.”

Z. Adilova also stated that, Yelisey Osin, a doctor-psychiatrist at the DocDeti clinic and founder of the Association of Psychiatrists and Psychologists for Science-Based Practice, will make a speech on the topic of "Autism diagnosis and therapy – technologies" for psychiatrists, neurologists, and parents at the Medinex Exhibition. There will be also meetings with local and foreign entrepreneurs. As an official partner of the exhibition, TABIB will be represented with a pavilion displaying the work and services provided by subordinate healthcare entities, vintage medical tools, and devices, as well as photos from the history of medicine.
