A trip to the Republic of Lithuania was organized as part of twinning project

From November 14 to 18, Representatives of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance visited the Republic of Lithuania under the twinning project known as "Reinforcing mandatory health insurance mechanisms in Azerbaijan."

During the visit, the representatives of the Agency held meetings at the National Health Insurance Fund of the Republic of Lithuania, the Ministry of Health, and the State Agency for Healthcare Accreditation. The delegation also visited the Antakalnis polyclinic in Vilnius, the Kauno Klinikos hospital of Lithuanian University of Health Sciences, and medical facilities in the cities of Alitus and Druskininkai.

Within the framework of the visit, a wide range of presentations covered topics such as: financing for mandatory health insurance, the introdution of information technologies, and reimbursement systems. Also, ideas were exchanged on the calculation and regulation of tariffs included in the Benefit Package, the analysis and study of the rules for the licensing and accreditation of health facilities, the building and improvement of effective relations with the public in the field of mandatory health insurance, and the use of proper communication tools.
