About 12.4 million manats in temporary allowances, bonuses and lump-sum bonuses have been paid to the staff involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic for the relevant months of 2021

In accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan as well as the relevant resolutions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) has paid temporary allowances of more than 8.9 million manats to medical workers and 1.9 million manats to non-medical workers involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in October and November months of the 2021. The payments were made in proportion to the working time/hours.

According to the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers, medical workers at private healthcare facilities involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were paid temporary allowances of 4056.70 manats in proportion to the working time/hours for October and November months of the last year. All salary deductions payable by the employees will be calculated from the final amount.

Volunteers were paid  bonus payment of 2250 manats, 250 manats per person per month, for October and November months. Salary deductions from this amount are not calculated.

The total amounts in temporary allowances and bonuses paid to medical and non-medical staff, as well as volunteers, for the above-mentioned months are shown below:

It should be noted that, in accordance with the lists provided by public and private medical facilities, the payment of temporary allowances by the Agency for November continues.

Pursuant to the decision of the Executive Board of the Agency dated September 20, 2021, "On strengthening the social protection of employees involved in vaccination against novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection" 67 healthcare facilities were paid lump-sum bonuses in the amount of 1 million 597 thousand manats for the months of July and August.

It should be noted that, payment of temporary allowances by the Agency for July and August months continues.

According to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 369, dated November 26, 2021, the payment of temporary allowances to the salaries of medical workers involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has been extended until January 1, 2022.
