About 492,000 manats in temporary allowances and bonuses have been paid between May-July 2022 to those involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic

In accordance with the relevant order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant decisions and orders of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) paid temporary allowances in the amount of approximately 448,000 manats to the medical workers and 44,000 manats to non-medical staff involved in the fight against the new type of coronavirus infection, with the amounts in proportion to working time/hours during the months of May-July 2022.

It should be noted that, according to the lists provided by public and private medical facilities, the Agency continues to pay temporary allowances for June and July.

According to Decision No. 275 of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, dated August 3, 2022, the payment of temporary allowances on the salaries of medical workers involved in the fight against the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has been extended until September 1, 2022.
