Agency provided 92 medical entities with 353 952 injectable glucose-lowering and hypoglycemic medications

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) started to provide medical entities subordinated to the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) with injectable glucose-lowering and hypoglycemic medications in accordance with the implementation of the “State Program on Diabetes”. In the first stage 353 952 medicines were delivered to the privileged pharmacies of healthcare entities.

Agency held a tender considering the needs of registered patients in state medical entities and future demand by patients.

On March 15, 2022, a contract was signed with Avromed Company CJSC, the winner of the tender for the purchase of "injectable diabetic and hypoglycemic medicines for the State Program on Diabetes" in the amount of 42.9 million manat. The medicine supply to medical entities has been carrying out since contract was signed. The distribution of medicines to medical entities is underway.
