Azerbaijan sent another humanitarian aid to Ukraine

Another humanitarian aid was sent to Ukrainian people from Azerbaijan today. It consisted of more than 170 tons of goods in total. Medications and medical disposable products in the amount of 3.37 million manats, and food products in the amount of 1 million manats was sent from Heydar Aliyev International Airport with participation of Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan. The plane with the first batch of relief supplies took off on April 21, at 14:30 and is expected to arrive in Warsaw airport.

Due to existing situation in Ukraine according to the order of the head of the state, about 550 tons of humanitarian relief worth more than 23.2 million manats in total was sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine on February 27 and March 12, as well as on April 15 to Moldova for Ukrainian refuges.

As of today, the total amount of humanitarian aid provided by the Republic of Azerbaijan because of the crisis in Ukraine is 27.6 million manats (about 15 million euros) and weighs 720 tons.
