Blood donation campaign held at State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance

Blood donation event held at State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance on occasion of World Blood Donor Day marked on 14th of June.

The employees of Agency who attended the event organized by Azerbaijan Thalassemia Federation voluntarily donated their blood to help patients requiring blood transfusion.

The doctor-hematologists of special medical brigade of Central Blood Bank of Institute of Hematology and Transfusion named after Bahadur Eyvazov collected blood after examining health conditions of the donors.

The donors highly appreciated such campaign and called other people to join such events.

It should be noted that the collected blood will be used in the treatment of people suffering from hemophilia and thalassemia, as well as other people who need blood transfusion.
