Chairman of the Agency’s Executive Board met with the UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan

On October 30, 2019, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) Zaur Aliyev has met with a delegation led by UK Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Azerbaijan Baroness Emma Nicholson.

During the meeting, issues of cooperation with the Agency on the reforms implemented in the sphere of healthcare were discussed.  Baroness Emma Nicholson conveyed readiness of the UK to share its experience in the mentioned sphere with Azerbaijan.

The Chairman of the Agency’s Executive Board Zaur Aliyev informed the delegation about the process of preparation for the mandatory health insurance to be implemented in the country from the next year, as well as positive results of mandatory health insurance implemented in the Mingachevir City, Yevlakh and Aghdash Кegions as a pilot project.
