Chairman of the Executive Board of TABIB has been appointed

The Chairman of the Executive Board of State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) Zaur Aliyev signed a decree on the appointment of Ramin Bayramli as Chairman of the Executive Board of the public legal entity “Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions” (TABIB). R. Bayramlı was born on November 20, 1979. In 2001 he graduated from Medical - Prophylactic faculty of Azerbaijan Medical University (AMU). He started his career in 2001 as a senior laboratory assistant in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, AMU.

In 2005, he worked as an Assistant, in 2009 as a Senior Lecturer, in 2013 as an Associate Professor at the mentioned department of the university. During 2011-2016, he served as a director of central laboratory of Educational-Therapeutic Clinic, in 2013-2016 he worked as chief medical officer (hospital manager) of the same clinic of AMU. Prior to the appointment to the position he worked as a Deputy Director on scientific issues at public legal entity Thalassemia Center. Currently he holds the position of Associate Professor at the Department of Microbiology and Immunology, AMU. He is the founder and Deputy Chairman of Public Association “Specialists of Clinical Laboratories of Azerbaijan”. R.Bayramlı is an author of multiple articles, training materials and textbooks. He has performed scientific-research work and attended advanced training at Istanbul and Ondokuz Mayis University of the Republic of Turkey.

On December 20, 2018, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed a Decree on the establishment of public legal entity of "Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions” under the auspices of State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance to ensure the implementation of mandatory health insurance in the country. Starting from 2020 TABIB will carry out authority, control and supervision over medical institutions included in the state healthcare system. Taking into consideration international experience, TABIB will improve healthcare service delivery by improving the management of medical institutions subordinated to TABIB, optimizing their performance, as well as applying more effective management methods.
