In accordance with the "Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the years 2021-2022", the process of vaccination continues in the country.

From June 7, it will be possible to use the Pfizer vaccine for vaccination against the novel coronavirus infection. This will give more options to citizens in the country. The application of the vaccine will start at the Baku Health Center located at: 112, Azadlig Avenue and at the Central Clinical Hospital located at: 76, Parliament Avenue.

Individuals aged over 18, and without any contraindications may be vaccinated.

To get vaccinated, one should go to the website https://randevu.its.gov.az/ and take an online appointment for coronavirus vaccination using the electronic service "COVID-19 vaccine appointment". In the "COVID-19 vaccine appointment" e-service, individuals must first enter their ID card serial, number and personal identification number and click "Check". After that, the vaccination center should be selected from the list provided and the date and time of the appointment will be set, then they need to enter their mobile number. After the registration is completed, a message will be sent to the mobile number entered in the registration. The message indicates the date, time and place of the vaccination of the first dose.

There is no need to re-register for the second vaccine dose after 28 days from the first dose. This is because, during the initial application, an electronic appointment will be given for the second dose at the correct time interval and at the same place.

The Pfizer vaccine is recognized by the World Health Organization.
