INFORMATION from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan, State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions

In accordance with the "Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for the years 2021-2022", the process of vaccination continues in the country on a voluntary basis, at public expense.

Recently, mass media and social networks have reported on fake vaccination certificates being obtained by citizens. The information was investigated and verified by the relevant authorities in a timely manner.

As a result of the investigation, a total of 12 employees of City Polyclinics Nos. 7 and 12 in Baku, Sheki Central Hospital, Children's Polyclinics Nos. 2, 3 and 5 in Sumgayit, City Hospital No. 3, and City Polyclinic No. 2 in Ganja were dismissed, and their employment contracts were terminated.

It should be stated, that in order to prevent such cases, investigations continue, and appropriate measures will be taken against any medical workers who have violated the law.
