Joint statement by the Ministry of Education and the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance

From March 03, 2021, the vaccination of pedagogical and technical staff of general educational establishements has started in accordance with the Strategy of Vaccination against COVID-19 in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2021-2022. Initially, pedagogical, and technical staff aged fifty and over, will be vaccinated.

For this purpose, ten vaccination centres have been set up in secondary schools in Baku. The vaccination centres have been equipped with computer hardware and provided with an Internet connection via data card by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance.

It should be mentioned that the participation of pedagogical and technical staff in the vaccination process is necessary in order to ensure a normal educational environment during the coronavirus pandemic.
