Medical specialists invited from Turkey have been involved in the treatment of coronavirus patients in Azerbaijan

According to the instructions of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, given to the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers, another group of foreign medical specialists has been invited to Azerbaijan to be involved in the fight against the new type of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

The specialists from the Acibadem group of hospitals and medical centers of Türkiye have been involved in preventing the spread of COVID-19 infection under the organization of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and with the financial support of the International Bank of Azerbaijan. They are highly qualified doctors and nurses who have worked in the field of combatting coronavirus infection and have extensive experience in the treatment of the disease.

The doctors and nurses invited from Türkiye will visit the "Yeni Klinika" health facility designated for the fight against coronavirus infection in our country, and will work with local specialists in the fields of treatment and prevention in order to prevent the disease. They will support local specialists in the treatment of patients infected with coronavirus with severe symptoms.

It should be noted that the Agency has been supporting measures to combat coronavirus in our country since the first days.
