Migration of State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance information systems to the "Government Cloud"

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (the Agency) and "AzInTelecom" LLC, under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, have collaborated closely to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, titled "On the creation of the 'Government Cloud' (G-cloud) and carrying out measures in the field of providing 'cloud' services." In adherence to the "Government Cloud" Transition Plan, the comprehensive migration of the Agency's information systems to the Data Center owned by "AzInTelecom" LLC has been successfully completed.

The migration process involved the gradual transition of the Agency's information systems to the "Government Cloud" (G-cloud), with some instances necessitating the creation of new infrastructure within the "Government Cloud."

The Agency has now secured the IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service) cloud infrastructure and the Backup (BaaS-Backup-as-a-Service) service to ensure the security of its data. Additionally, the Agency is benefiting from supplementary services, including the optimization of state costs related to electronic services, the organization of information systems in a high-quality, stable, and secure infrastructure, as well as the provision of high-quality services with 24/7 monitoring and operative coordination.

Furthermore, the Agency has gained the capability to regulate the allocated information technology resources through the "Self-Management Platform."

Notably, ongoing discussions between the Agency and "AzInTelecom" LLC are in progress to explore opportunities for expanding the utilization of cloud services.
