More than 11,100,000 manats in temporary allowances and bonuses have been paid in September this year to staff involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic

In accordance with the relevant decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) has paid temporary allowances of 10,000,000 manats to medical workers and 1,100,000 manats to non-medical workers involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, in September of the current year. The payments were made in proportion to working times / hours.

According to the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers, medical workers at private medical facilities involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were paid temporary allowances of 6,341.30 manats in proportion to their working hours / time in September this year. All salary deductions payable by the employee will be calculated from the final amount.

Volunteers were paid a bonus of 1,250 manats, 250 manats per person per month, for September. Salary deductions are not made from this amount.

The amount of temporary allowances and bonuses paid to medical and non-medical staff, as well as volunteers for the abovementioned month is as follows:

In accordance with the lists provided by public and private medical facilities, payment of temporary allowances by the Agency for September and October continues.

It should be noted that, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 369, dated November 26, 2021, the payment of temporary allowances to medical workers involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has been extended until January 1, 2022.
