Report form on insurance fees paid for mandatory health insurance and the procedure of submission of such reports have been approved

Financial Markets Supervisory Authority has approved the "Report form on insurance fees paid by an insurer for mandatory health insurance in relation to disability caused by industrial accidents and professional diseases and the procedure of submission of such reports".

The Procedure has been developed based on the Item 15-11.18 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Health Insurance" and determines the report form on mandatory health insurance fees paid by an insurer as stipulated in the Law “On Mandatory Health Insurance against disability resulting from industrial accidents and occupational diseases”, and the procedures of submission of such reports.

Under the Procedures, insurance fees are calculated by insurers on a monthly basis and paid to the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund not later than the 20th of the month, following the reporting month. The insurer will submit the report in both hard and soft copies to the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance on a quarterly basis, within 20 days from the date of completion of the respective quarter.

This Procedure will enter into force on January 1, 2020.
