Successful opening ceremony marks commencement of “Medinex” and “Beauty Azerbaijan” exhibitions

On November 2, 2023, the Baku Expo Center hosted the official opening ceremony of the "Medinex" and "Beauty Azerbaijan" exhibitions, two significant and prestigious events in the regional medical field.

The ceremony welcomed distinguished guests, including Teymur Musayev, Minister of Health of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Ahliman Amiraslanov, Chairman of the Health Committee of the Parliament; Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance; Nigar Bayramova, Deputy Chairman of the Board; Vugar Gurbanov, Executive Officer of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB); Hikmet Mammadov, KOBIA Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors; and Farid Mammadov, CEO of Caspian Event Organizers.

Officially supporting the "Medinex" 2023 exhibition are the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance and the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB).

Following the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, participants and guests embarked on a VIP tour.

The “Medinex” exhibition is poised to be a valuable platform for industry professionals and entrepreneurs, facilitating the development of business relationships, fostering new connections, exchanging pertinent information, and facilitating profitable contracts.

These exhibitions coincide with a momentous year, marking the 100th anniversary of the birth of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of the Azerbaijani people and the founder of the independent state of Azerbaijan. Heydar Aliyev, an eminent politician and statesman, consistently emphasized the importance of medical sector development and innovative projects, designating the medical sector as a priority. This significant occasion will be highlighted at the "Medinex" exhibition through the organization of the "Medical Innovations Forum," dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev. Additionally, a panel discussion on ophthalmology commemorating the 100th birth anniversary of the distinguished ophthalmologist-scientist, academician Zarifa Aliyeva, is scheduled.

Participating countries encompass Azerbaijan, Germany, Belarus, South Korea, China, Algeria, the Russian Federation, France, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Egypt, Turkey, etc. The exhibition will unite specialized companies from diverse countries, alongside prominent local entities such as "Diamed CO," "Arash Medical Company," "ASMEDICAL," "Labservis LTD," "IHG" (International Health Group), and "Biopharmax AFEZCO." Local manufacturers proudly presenting their products under the brand "Made in Azerbaijan" will also take part. This year, collective stands from Belarus, Kazakhstan, and various regions of Russia, including Yaroslavl, Moscow, Sverdlovsk, and the Republic of Tatarstan, will enhance the exhibition's diversity.

In total, 100 companies from 14 countries will participate in the "Medinex" and "Beauty Azerbaijan" exhibitions. This international gathering will provide an excellent opportunity for industry experts to converge on a unified platform, strengthen business ties, and broaden the scope of sales.

The exhibitions are organized by "Caspian Event Organizers" in collaboration with their partners "Caspian Event Management" and "ICA Events." The events are scheduled to run until November 4, 2023.
