Temporary allowance and wage bonus in the amount of 15,100 AZN paid to medical workers of private medical facilities and volunteers involved in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic

In accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 112, dated March 25, 2020, and the Order dated April 1, 2020, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance paid a temporary allowance to two medical workers of private medical facilities involved in the fight against the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection in proportion to working hours, as well as wage bonuses to 38 volunteers in October.

In accordance with the relevant resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, the amount of the temporary allowance to the salaries of employees of private medical facilities involved in the fight against COVID-19 infection was set at three, four, and five times the monthly salary. According to the resolution, two medical workers of private medical facilities were paid a temporary allowance in the amount of 5,600 manats in proportion to their working hours/time in October. It should be noted that all salary deductions payable by the employee are calculated from the final amount. 
According to the decree, 38 volunteers were paid a total of 9,500 manats in October, 250 manats per volunteer. This amount was not subject to salary deductions.
