The Agency has conducted a training for journalists

On September 26, 2018, the State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance held a training on "Raising awareness of media representatives on mandatory health insurance" for the leading media representatives of the country. The main purpose of the training was to enhance professional communication with media institutions, increase awareness of journalists about mandatory health insurance (MHI) and health financing.

Heads of the departments of the Agency Araz Nasirov, Vugar Gurbanov, Aysel Ibayeva, Aynura Ahmadova, heads of the Divisions Sharafat Ismayilova, Sadig Madatov and Resident Twining Advisor at the EU funded Twinning Project ‘Support to Implementation of the Mandatory Health Insurance System in Azerbaijan’, Gediminas Cerniauskas talked about international experience in MHI application, the role of MHI in the protection of population health , initial results, benefit package and non-covered services by MHI, primary health care organization in Azerbaijan and feedback of healthcare employees who work in pilot areas on MHI system.

Later participants were informed about writing contest on the topic of " The role of MHI in the protection of population health " and the video contest on “What will change mandatory health insurance in my life” or "What is mandatory health insurance?". The terms of the contests are posted on the official website of the Agency.
