The Chairman of the Board of the Agency met with the Deputy Minister of Health of the Czech Republic

On May 25, 2021, Zaur Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) met with Radek Politcar, the Deputy Minister of Health of the Czech Republic. Lenka Poliakova, Director of the Health Insurance Supervision Department of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic, Petr Foit, member of the Board of the Association of Medical Device Manufacturers and Suppliers and Aysel Ibayeva, Head of the Legal Department of the Agency also participated in the meeting.

Zaur Aliyev informed the deputy minister about the activities of the Agency and the introduction of mandatory health insurance in the country. Z. Aliyev stated that there are great opportunities for companies from the Czech Republic, engaged in the manufacturing of medical devices, to invest in our country. 

Radek Politcar, in his turn, thanked the Chairman of the Board for the warm welcome. Speaking about the great opportunities for cooperation between the two organizations in the field of health insurance, the guest expressed his willingness for his team to share their experience with Azerbaijan.

The participants of the meeting exchanged views on their experience in the fields of healthcare and mandatory health insurance, the procedure for determining which medical services should be included in the Benefit Package, the role of the state in the field of insurance, the main duties of the insured, the improvement of legislation in the field of mandatory health insurance and a number of other topics.
