The Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance is on a working visit to Turkey

Representatives of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) and the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (SMBDA) are on a visit to Türkiye at the invitation of the Istanbul Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center for Excellence.

During the visit, a meeting was held on public-private partnerships between Zaur Aliyev, the Chairman of the Board of the Agency, Orkhan Mammadov, the Chairman of the Board of SMBDA and Eyup Vural, the Head of the Center. The parties exchanged views on Turkiye's experience and legislation on the implementation of PPP projects in the health sector.

Z. Aliyev visited hospitals to get acquainted with the projects implemented within the framework of PPP and met with local experts with rich experience of PPP in Türkiye’s health sector.

At the meeting held with businessmen interested in investing in the healthcare sector in our country, Z. Aliyev provided information on the health care system in Azerbaijan and the introduction of mandatory health insurance.

Z. Aliyev visited our war veterans who have been treated in hospital in Türkiye following the 44-day war and interested in their health.
