The Chairman of the TABIB Board met with representatives of the World Bank

Ramin Bayramli, Chairman of the Board of the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), met with Federica Secci and Elvira Anadolu, chief health experts from the World Bank. They discussed a possible collaboration with the World Bank in the field of healthcare. Ramin Bayramli informed the guests about the purpose, functions, and activities of the TABIB. He said the working groups were set up to improve and standardize the quality of health services provided by the state-owned medical facilities controlled by the TABIB. "It is planned to begin monitoring at medical facilities starting from the first working week of January until the end of March 2020. Based on the results of the monitoring, we plan to take measures to eliminate the existing shortcomings in the medical facilities." R. Bayramli stated that the work to be done to improve the capacity of the medical personnel in the country is one of the main priorities of the TABIB. The main goal is to address the shortage of medical personnel in the country over a period of three years by accelerating efforts in this area. World Bank employees F. Secci and E. Anadolu discussed the joint projects of the World Bank with Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Georgia, expressing their satisfaction with the cooperation from the TABIB. During the meeting, questions from the guests regarding the access to primary healthcare services, registration and storage of patient's anamnesis, genetic mapping, and the online map system were answered.
