The fifth and sixth joint periodic reports of the UN Convention on the Rights of Children were presented in Geneva

The 92nd session of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Children, held in Geneva, Swiss Confederation, included the presentation of the fifth and sixth joint periodic reports of the Government of Azerbaijan on the UN Convention on the Rights of Children.

Nigar Bayramova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance gave a speech at the event, speaking about the measures taken to improve the quality of medical services provided to children, especially premature babies, medical services provided under mandatory health insurance for pregnant women and children, and the health protection of mothers and children, going on to answer the questions of participants.

It should be noted that the Azerbaijani delegation headed by Bahar Muradova, Chairman of the State Committee for Family, Women, and Children Affairs, includes representatives of the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Science and Education, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Agriculture, the State Committee of Statistics, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the State Migration Service, the Food Safety Agency and the Ministry of Finance.
