The scope of the electronic service "Laboratory test results" has been expanded

There has been an increase in the number of state medical facilities subordinated to TABIB, which have integrated the electronic service "Results of laboratory tests" by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency). Now, it is possible to get the laboratory test results in more than 70 state medical facilities through the mentioned electronic service. The geographical scope of the electronic service has also expanded. At present, laboratory test results are available online to residents of 38 cities and districts.

To use the electronic service, it’s necessary to enter the subsection "Laboratory test results" from the "E-services" section of the Agency's official website (https://its.gov.az). On the page that opens, it’s required to enter an ID code, the PROTOCOL number, date of birth, and the date of the test. Note that the space labeled "PROTOCOL number" is filled by health facility.

It is also possible to access the mentioned electronic service through the e-Tabib mobile application. On the page that opens, the name of the health facility, the date of application to such health facility, and the sample ID are listed. Here, it is possible to get the results of the test  by clicking the download icon.

Due to structural changes, several state medical facilities have been merged into one medical center. Let's explain more clearly with an example: Sumgait City Children's Hospital, Sumgait Perinatal Center, and Sumgait City Emergency Medical Hospital are currently operating under the banner of Sumgait Medical Center. For this reason, the name of the hospital is recorded as Sumgayit Medical Center when citizens who were analyzed in the abovementioned health facilities get online test results.

If necessary, it’s also possible to save and print the results of laboratory tests. An electronic service can also be accessed through the e-Tabib mobile application.

This transparent electronic service was created in order to provide access to the results of laboratory analysis regardless of location and to eliminate the cases when citizens wait on queues to get the test results, thereby ensuring the convenience for the population. The service allows citizens to get the results of laboratory analyses online without wasting time and without any need for a printed document. As a result of this, last year, the number of electronic service usage was 424,232.

It should be noted that, since 2018, when the service was put into use, the number of health facilities and cities/regions in which it is applied has increased from three to 70 and 38, respectively. It is planned to continuously increase the number of medical facilities and regions covered by the electronic service. In the following months, it is expected that the mentioned electronic service will fully cover the Zagatala, Balaken, and Gakh regions. The Agency aims to establish this electronic service in all medical centers and polyclinics (Family Health Centers) under TABIB in the coming years.
