23 persons visiting regions of Islamic Republic of Iran with confirmed cases of infection have been placed for medical examination in Jalilabad District Central Hospital. During the initial examination the temperature of two persons was a little higher than norm. No serious problems were found in their health conditions. Medical observations will continue until the end of quarantine period. Most aforementioned persons travelled to Iran for pilgrimage. The citizens are urged to take a sensitive approach to the issue and not to rely on false information on social media that pursue to create artificial excitement.

Four more persons have been placed for medical observation at the Infectious Diseases Division of Clinical Medical Center. They are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The young adults between 19-21 years of age are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran who arrived in Azerbaijan several days ago.

They visited hospital as their body temperature was above normal. Currently there are six persons at the Infectious Diseases Division of Clinical Medical Center. One of them is Azerbaijani citizen, others are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The condition of three persons who are under medical observation is normal. They don’t experience any health problem. Other three persons have symptoms of flu. They remain under observation of doctors.

The above-mentioned people arrived from the region of Iran where disease has not been registered. They have not been in contact with infected persons. 
The Ministry of Health urges citizens to take a sensitive approach to the issue and not to rely on false information spread on social media that pursue to create artificial excitement.
