Today 29 persons were placed under medical examination at the Infectious Diseases Division of Jalilabad Central District Hospital. They don’t experience any health problem. It is being investigated if they have been in the disease hotspot of Iran.

23 persons were placed for medical examination in Jalilabad District Central Hospital yesterday. Currently the temperature of two persons out of 52 in total is a little above normal. They remain under medical observation. The citizens are urged to take a sensitive approach to the issue and not to rely on false information on social media that pursue to create artificial excitement.

Seven persons have been placed for medical observation at the Infectious Diseases Division of Clinical Medical Center. Two of them is Azerbaijani citizens, rest of them are citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The conditions of six of them is normal. They don’t experience any health problem. The body temperature of one of them is above normal. Medical observations continue. As we have reported earlier the people who travelled to the region of the Islamic Republic of Iran with confirmed infections cases have been placed for medical observation in Jalilabad Central District Hospital. The temperature of two of them is a little above normal. No serious problems found in their health. Most aforementioned persons travelled to Iran for pilgrimage.

The citizens are urged to take a sensitive approach to the issue and not to rely on false information on social media that pursue to create artificial excitement. We urge mass media outlets to avoid using expressions in headlines that mislead people.
