The statement on the maternal death

On November 8, 2019 the resident of Yevlakh district, 28-year-old Gulana Aliyeva experiencing health problems in her second pregnancy visited Yevlakh District Central Hospital with a referral from a family doctor.

As a result of medical examination performed at Yevlakh District Central Hospital Gulana Aliyeva was diagnosed with pathology combined with pregnancy. Pursuant to medical guidelines on the same day under medical observation she was taken by ambulance to the pregnancy pathology department of Republican Clinical Hospital named after academician M.A.Mirgasimov under the Ministry of Health .

On November 10, 2019 G.Aliyeva delivered a baby at the same healthcare facility. The death has occurred after the birth.

The authorised body to conduct the investigation on maternal death occured at the Republican Clinical Hospital named after academician M.A.Mirgasimov is the Ministry of Health.
