Training was held to improve the work of medical staff during emerging situations

Within the framework of joint cooperation between the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency), the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the project "Capacity building for the coordination and introduction of the Minimum Primary Health Care Service Package (MPHSP) for reproductive health in the humanitarian spheres" has been implemented.

Within the framework of the project, training on coordination and introduction of the MPHSP for reproductive health in the humanitarian spheres was held on November 1st in the Central Hospital of Goygol region and on November 4th and 5th in the Central Hospital of Mingachevir city.

The training, conducted by UNFPA trainers, was attended by the deputy heads of the hospitals, gynecologists, and doctors of the emergency medical services department.

On the first day of the training, first aid was provided to victims during an emergency condition situation. The purpose of the practical training was to stimulate the work of medical staff during emergencies, and to improve their knowledge and experience. On the second day of the training, discussions were held on the medical care provided, and relevant methodological recommendations were given to the medical staff.

It should be noted that the project "Capacity building for the coordination and introduction of the Minimum Primary Health Care Service Package (MPHSP) for reproductive health in the humanitarian spheres" aims to build national capacity to get ready for natural disasters and other emergencies, mitigate the consequences of such circumstances and manage post-disaster recovery.
