UNICEF has donated medical equipment to our country

Within the framework of cooperation between the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), medical equipment has been donated to our country to enable the early detection of possible diseases in children from vulnerable population groups, as well as the provision of timely treatment and the protection of their health.

The equipment includes a Holter monitor, a portable surgical aspirator, a neonatal ventilator, an electrocardiograph (ECG), a color doppler ultrasound device, and a phototherapy machine. The medical services provided to patients by the aforementioned equipment are covered by mandatory health insurance.

A donated Holter monitor is used to measure heart rhythm and heart rate. The patient wears the device for 24-48 hours, and, during this time, the device records his heart activity. The analysis of this data enables the doctor to make a more accurate diagnosis.

Color doppler ultrasound devices allow for the detection of various diseases and vascular pathologies.

A portable surgical aspirator is used to drain fluid that has accumulated in the surgical area during operation.

The phototherapy device will be used to reduce the level of neonatal jaundice in newborns. Phototherapy devices are equipped with light-emitting diode (LED) lamps and a timer to monitor the duration of the medical procedure.

The electrocardiograph (ECG) allows for the rapid diagnosis of many heart diseases.

The donated ventilator is designed to provide continuous oxygen to newborns with respiratory distress.

It should be noted that the medical equipment has been delivered to the Republican Clinical Hospital named after Academician M. A. Mirgasimov.
