2379 citizen appeals were submitted to the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance in the first nine months of the current year

2379 citizen appeals were submitted to the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance in the first nine months of the year 2019. 1021 of them were letters of appeals, complaints and suggestions, and 1358 were submitted through telephone. The majority of appeals were submitted by residents of the Mingachevir City, Yevlakh, and Agdash Regions, where the mandatory health insurance has been carried out as a pilot project

695 of the appeals submitted to the Agency were regarding examination, treatment, and surgical operations, 316 disability issues, 260 use of mandatory health insurance and insurance fees, 216 employment and labor issues, 172 outpatient provision of medicines, 149 issuance of referrals, 123 payments for healthcare services, and 448 other issues.

All the appeals were considered and resolved in an order and before deadlines established by the legislation.  Appeals beyond the Agency's powers were sent to other relevant institutions for consideration.

 According to the citizens reception schedule, 193 citizens were received by the administration and officials of the Agency within the nine months.  45 of them were received by the Chairman of the Executive Board of the Agency on-site within the territory of implementation of the project.  The received citizens appealed for the issues mainly concerning the reimbursement of healthcare expenses, provision of medicines and employment, establishment of the degree of disability, examination and treatment, surgical operations, etc.

Appeals were responded in accordance with requirements of the legislation and necessary tasks were given for resolution of the questions raised.
