384 citizen appeals were submitted to the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance in October

A total of 384 appeals were submitted to the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance in October 2019. 
132 of them were letters of appeals, complaints and suggestions and 252 were submitted over the phone. 130 of the appeals submitted to the Agency were regarding medical examination, treatment, and surgical operations, 51 — disability issues, 30 — employment and labor issues, 13 — outpatient provision of medicines, 18 —payments for healthcare services and 27 other issues. 
115 request character appeals submitted over the phone were about introduction of mandatory health insurance across the country from 2020, insurance fees and legislation regulating the activities in this area. The majority of appeals were submitted by residents of Mingachevir сity, Yevlakh, and Agdash regions, where the mandatory health insurance has been carried out as a pilot project. All the appeals were considered and resolved in the manner and within the term established by the legislation. The appeals that fall outside of Agency’s areas of work have been forwarded to relevant bodies for consideration. 
In accordance with the reception schedule 31 citizens were received by the administration and officials of the Agency. 
The received citizens appealed for the issues mainly concerning the reimbursement of healthcare expenses, outpatient provision of medicines, employment, establishment of disability degree, as well as medical examination and treatment, surgical operations, etc.
Appeals were responded in accordance with requirements of the legislation and necessary tasks were given for resolution of the questions raised.
