During the first six months of the current year, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance received 16,463 inquiries from citizens

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) received 16,463 inquiries from citizens during the first six months of 2022. Of the inquiries, 16,400 included applications, complaints, and suggestions, and 63 were sent by telegram. There were 4,238 inquiries directly addressed to the Agency. Inquiries were received mainly from residents of the cities of Baku, Sumgayit, and Ganja and the districts of Sheki, Barda, Masalli, and Jalilabad. There were 12,225 inquiries sent to the Agency for consideration from relevant state authorities.

Of the received inquiries, 7,919 were related to examination and treatment, 4,576 to disability issues, 1,694 to employment and labor relations, 841 to the provision of medicines and medical supplies, 487 to COVID-19, and 946 to other issues. All inquiries were considered in the manner and time established in the legislation.

There were 14,769 inquiries received by the Agency via social networks during the first six months of the current year. These inquiries were mainly related to medical services included in the Benefit Package, disability issues, lists of state health facilities under authority of TABIB and private health facilities contracted by the Agency, and salary increases for medical workers, among other topics.

In addition, 5,617 citizens were received by the management and officials of the Agency during this period. The Chairman of the Board of the Agency received 140 of them who were residents of the city of Shirvan and the Hajigabul, Guba, Gusar, Neftchala, Salyan, Balaken, Zagatala, and Gakh districts. The inquiries of received citizens were mainly related to the provision of medicines, coverage of medical expenses, disability confirmation, examination and treatment, surgical operations, employment, issuing of referrals, and other topics. The inquiries of the citizens were responded to in accordance with the requirements of the legislation and the necessary instructions were given for the settlement of the problems. It should be noted that the citizens were received in accordance with the rules and requirements of the special quarantine regime applied in the country.

On-site receptions of citizens were organized in accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, titled "Schedule of meetings to be held with citizens in cities and regions by the heads of the central executive authorities and other administrative authorities."
