In November, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance received 459 complaints from citizens

In November 2019, the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance received a total of 459 complaints. Of these, 103 were applications, complaints, and suggestions sent by letter and 356 were made by phone. Most of the appeals were made by residents of the Mingachevir, Yevlakh, and Aghdash regions where mandatory health insurance was implemented as a pilot project. 129 of the inquiries to the Agency concern the problems of medical examination, treatment, and surgical procedures. There were 56 disability issues, 32 recruitment and employment problems, 8 outpatient medication supply questions, 25 medical service payments, and 34 other issues. 175 of the telephone inquiries were related to the introduction of mandatory health insurance in the country starting next year, including compulsory health insurance fees and legislation governing this area. Also in November, 270 inquiries were received on the Agency's social network sites. 

All inquiries were considered in the manner and timeframe established by the legislation. Inquiries not related to the Agency's activities were sent to other relevant organizations for consideration.  According to the reception schedule, in November, the management and officials of the Agency received visits from 26 citizens. The inquiries of these citizens were mainly related to the payment of medical expenses, employment, disability category determination, medical examinations and treatment, surgical operations, etc. Citizens' inquiries were responded to in accordance with the legislative requirements and the necessary instructions were given to resolve these inquiries.
