State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance received 1536 appeals by citizens in the first six months of this year

658 appeals were made by mail and consisted of applications, complaints and suggestions, while 878 by telephone.

The most appeals were made by residents of Mingachevir city, Yevlakh and Agdash districts where mandatory health insurance has been implementing as a pilot project.

All the applications were considered by the Agency in accordance with the requirements of national legislation.

19,3 % (296) of appeals made in the reporting period found their solution, 75,6% (1162) provided with explanation, 3,5% (53) implemented, 0,6% (9) considered baseless, 0,7%- (11) lapsed, 0,3%-(5) sent to relevant institutions for consideration.

The number of citizens received by the Agency management and officials was 135. 15,6%- (21) of them found solution, 83,7% (113) provided with explanation, 0,7%-(1)-considered baseless. The issues raised in meetings were about payment of medical supplies, determination of disability degrees, employment, medical examination, treatment, surgeries and medicine supply. 45 citizens were received in the regions where pilot project is being implemented.
