The Agency has hired volunteers who have completed their educations in the field of information technologies

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) organized the "Voluntary Program in the Field of Information Technologies (IT)" during March and April in support of the state policy carried out in this field according to the legislation on the regulation of voluntary activities and youth policy. The purpose of the program is to utilize the potential of young people in the field of IT more effectively, to create opportunities for them to gain additional experience in this field, to contribute to the discovery of promising young people, and to ensure the training of professional personnel.

The Agency received 504 applications for participation in the program when it was announced in March of this year. From these applications, 168 candidates were selected and invited to the test exam held in April. The candidates were students and those who gained bachelor's and master's degrees in IT. After 63 candidates successfully passed the test, 24 went on to have successful interviews.

Under the program, volunteers were divided into groups and involved in voluntary activities in five departments of the Information Technologies and Innovations Department of the Agency for three months.

An IT project for intern volunteers was presented and successfully completed. Volunteers in the fields of IT infrastructure, network administration, information administration, and security of information systems all passed the tests successfully. Volunteers gained experience by attending the relevant trainings on general work processes, teamwork skills, and other vital areas.

Twelve candidates with successful results were recruited as junior specialists in various divisions of the Information Technologies and Innovations Department of the Agency on October 3-5. Most of the young people recruited (70%) are currently studying at the master's level. Eleven people started working in the Agency as their first job.

Other applicants who achieved successful results were awarded with certificates. Due to their high evaluations, the Agency provided them with reference letters. Their information is kept in the Agency's vacancy database in order to re-evaluate them in the future for suitable vacancies.

It should be noted that this is the first major project implemented by the Agency with the participation of volunteers in the field of IT. As a result of the successful implementation of the project, the participants were highly satisfied.
