The Agency's employees participated in a global meeting organized by WHO in Oman

A delegation from the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, Tural Gulu and Gasim Amrahli, as well as a representative of the Ministry of Health, Anar Israfilov, participated in the global meeting dedicated to the topic "Non-infectious Diseases and Mental Health,” organized by the World Health Organization in the city Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, on December 9-12.

The global meeting discussed struggling with non-infectious diseases and measures to improve mental health, as well as the experiences of different countries. During the meeting, the representative of the Agency, Tural Gulu, spoke at the panel session and informed the participants of the implementation of mandatory health insurance in Azerbaijan, the work to combat non-infectious diseases, strengthening of primary healthcare to improve control of these diseases, and the additional taxes charged on products harmful for human health (tobacco, alcohol, energy drinks, etc.).
