The chairman of Executive Board of Agency met with deputy regional manager of “VAMED Engineering GMBH”

Zaur Aliyev, the chairman of Executive Board of State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) met with Michael Bridi, deputy regional manager of “VAMED Engineering GMBH”.

The ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Austria Galib Israfilov, co-chairs of Azerbaijan-Austria Partnership Society Nariman Bakhishov and Werner Mueller participated in the meeting.

Opportunities and prospects for cooperation between Agency and “VAMED Engineering GMBH” were discussed at the meeting.

The chairman of Executive Board of Agency Zaur Aliyev informed the participants of the meeting that next year mandatory health insurance will be applied in all country. He talked about positive results of pilot project on mandatory health insurance in city of Mingachevir, Yevlakh and Aghdash districts.

The representative of company Michael Bridi highly appreciated the partnership with Azerbaijan and stressed that he attaches the great importance to this cooperation. M.Bridi said that the main activity field of company is planning, construction and supply of hospitals, management of healthcare facilities, intra-hospital coordination, organization of emergency first aid service, rehabilitation and prevention, training of medical staff. He said the company which employs 2700 people has been present on the market for 37 years and implements projects in 90 countries.

Zaur Aliyev commended the given suggestions and commissioned to develop a platform for cooperation between the Agency and company.
