The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance received 1837 appeals by citizens in the first seven months of 2019

802 appeals were made by mail and consisted of applications, complaints and suggestions, while 1035 by telephone. The number of appeals by citizens received in July was 318.

The most appeals were made by residents of Mingachevir city, Yevlakh and Agdash districts where mandatory health insurance has been implementing as a pilot project.

All the applications were considered by the Agency in accordance with the requirements of national legislation.

18,3 % (337) of appeals made in the reporting period found their solution, 75,7% (1390) provided with explanation, 4,1% (75) implemented, 0,5% (9) considered baseless, 0,5% (9) lapsed, 0,9% (17) sent to the relevant organization for consideration.

The number of citizens received by the Agency management and officials was 152. 16,4% (25) of appeals found solution, 82,9% (126) provided with relevant explanation, 0,7% (1) considered baseless. The issues raised in the meetings were about payment of medical supplies, determination of disability degrees, employment, medical examination, treatment, surgeries and medicine supply.
