The statement of the Agency on Roadmap

The Roadmap has been prepared for application of mandatory health insurance across the country by the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance. Currently the Roadmap is at the phase of negotiation with relevant institutions. The Roadmap stipulates the adjustment of state health facilities in the following year in accordance with the principles of mandatory health insurance and full integration of health care system into the mandatory health insurance.

The Roadmap also specifies the financing of mandatory health insurance through different sources in order to ensure the financial sustainability which include state budget, insurance premiums from population and alternative sources of finance.

The funds intended for mandatory health insurance in the state budget for the next year related to alternative sources of finance and it is a reserve fund for implementation of issues stemming from roadmap requirements.
