Azerbaijan sent another humanitarian aid to Ukraine

In accordance with the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev another humanitarian assistance was sent to Ukrainian people.  The shipment consisted of medicines and medical equipment to provide urgent and emergency medical aid as well as nutrition and food products.

The first plane bearing the humanitarian assistance departed Heydar Aliyev International Airport at 09:00 AM on March 12.  The goods weights 380 tons and worth more than 5.5 million euro in total were delivered to Rzeszow airport in Poland. Next flights with humanitarian relief will be carried out throughout the day.

It should be mentioned that pursuant to the order of the leadership of the country, first humanitarian relief worth 6 million euro was sent from Azerbaijan to Ukraine on February 27 in the first days of crisis. It consisted of medications, medical disposable products, medical devices, and equipment.
