Finance training was provided to the healthcare facilities staff where mandatory health insurance is applied

On August 10, the Finance Department of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) held training sessions in the Sheki district on financial reporting and accounting for employees of hospitals in the north-western region of the country in the finance, insurance, human resources and other administrative, management areas.

The training sessions on “Mandatory health insurance allowances and bonuses calculation procedure” and “Procedure for preparation of annual financial statements”, organized at the Sheki Central Hospital, were attended by the relevant staff of Sheki, Zagatala, Balakan, Gakh, Oguz and Gabala district central hospitals and Zagatala, Gabala medical-diagnostic centers.

The purpose of the training was to provide guidance to employees of hospitals, where mandatory health insurance has been applied in the regions, on the procedure for calculation of mandatory health insurance allowances and bonuses and preparation of the annual financial statements.

It should be noted that in the first training on "Mandatory health insurance allowances and bonuses calculation procedure" Yadigar Mahmudzadeh and Fidan Aliyeva, officials of the Agency's Finance Department, made a presentation on the application of the Regulations "On the system for remuneration of health workers of medical facilities controlled by the public legal entity, Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions". During the training, the participants were informed about the changes in the rules, and the calculation of fixed incentives and monthly performance-based incentive allowances.

In the next training on the procedures for preparation of the annual financial statements, Emil Ahmadov, Huseyn Gahramanov and Nisa Gurbanli, officials of the Finance Department of the Agency, made a presentation on the rules of accounting and financial reporting in accordance with international standards, as well as on accounting knowledge.

At the end of both training sessions, the Agency's employees answered questions from the participants in detail.

It should be stated that this week the training sessions will be held in Ganja city with the participation of employees of Ganja City United Hospital, the central hospitals of Samukh, Goygol, Goranboy, Shamkir, Dashkasan, Gadabay, Kalbajar, Khojaly, Agstafa, Gazakh and Tovuz districts and the medical-diagnostic centers of Gazakh and Tovuz cities. The training will also be held in Mingachevir city with the participation of employees of Mingachevir City Central Hospital, and the central hospitals of Naftalan, Agdash, Yevlakh, Goychay and Ujar districts. At the same time, the Agency plans to organize training in several districts of the country, including Baku, Sumgayit cities and Absheron district.

In the future, the Agency will continue to carry out measures to improve the professional level of the finance staff of medical facilities where mandatory health insurance has been applied.
