Joint information of the Ministry of Health, State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, and TABIB

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the number of cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection has been increasing globally over the past week.

WHO recommends using masks in closed premises and following the rules of hygiene in light of increased infections worldwide.

Negative dynamics related to the spread of the COVID-19 infection have been observed in Azerbaijan in recent days. There is an increase in the number of infected people and in the prevalence of infected people compared to those who have recovered.

The health authorities of our country strongly advise our citizens to wear medical masks in closed premises, maintain social distance, reduce contact, and follow respiratory hygiene rules.

Note that the process is carefully monitored and controlled by health authorities. During the pandemic, significant experience has been gained in the elimination of negative dynamics. Adequate decisions can be taken according to the situation in any case.

Once again, we strongly advise our citizens to use medical masks and observe hygiene rules in closed premises.
