Representatives of the medical community visited the graves of the great leader Heydar Aliyev and doctors who died in the Patriotic War

Today is the professional holiday of medical workers in Azerbaijan.

In this regard, Teymur Musayev, Minister of Health, Nigar Bayramova, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, Vugar Gurbanov, Acting Chairman of the Board of the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), and other representatives of the medical community commemorated the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor on June 17.

Representatives of the medical community laid flowers in front of the graves of Zarifa Aliyeva, a prominent ophthalmologist, scientist, and academician, Aziz Aliyev, a public and political figure and healthcare organizer, and Tamerlan Aliyev, a well-known scientist.

Later, the graves of the martyrs of the Patriotic War were visited in the Second Alley of Honor. The memory of the doctors who died for the territorial integrity of our country was commemorated.

It should be noted that, according to the Decree signed by the national leader Heydar Aliyev on June 4, 2001, June 17 is celebrated as the Professional Holiday of Medical Workers in our country.
