A training session has been held on the organization and management of the work of medical consulting commissions

At the initiative of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency), a training session was organized on the "Organization and management of the work of medical consulting commissions". 

Directors of the central hospitals of Guba, Gusar, Khachmaz, Shabran and Siyazan districts, supervised by the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB), the chairmen of the medical consulting commissions operating under these hospitals, the managers of polyclinic divisions and family health centers, the head of the Guba branch of the Agency and employees of the call center attended the training held at the Azerbaijan State Institute for the Training of Physicians, named after Aziz Aliyev.

The trainees were informed on the legal documents referred to in the organization of the work of the Medical Consulting Commission, "the Rules of issuing referrals for medical and social examinations for the purpose of disability assessment", "the Rules of issuing, registration and filling in disability certificates", "the Regulations on the assessment criteria of disability and limited health capacity".

The training also included presentations on “Analysis of the Medical Consulting Commission's conclusions record book”, “Analysis of the disability certificate record book” and “Analysis of the referrals issued to the Medical and Social Examination Commission (TQS № 088)”. Questions asked by the participants were also answered. 

Hikmet Ibrahimli, Head of the Medical Planning Department of the Agency, Shohrat Soyziyev, Coordinator of the Disability Control Division, Elnara Huseynova, Chief Physician of the City Polyclinic No. 13, Tahira Efendiyeva, Deputy Chief Physician on Administrative Affairs of the City Polyclinic No. 20, Azer Zeynalov, Director of the Pirallahi Medical Center and Elshad Aliyev, a neurologist of the United City Hospital No. 9, all made speeches at the training.

It should be noted that similar training sessions aimed at improving the performance of the medical consulting commissions of health facilities in the country will be held for employees of other medical facilities. At present, 143 medical facilities under the supervision of TABIB are authorized to issue referrals for medical and social examinations. The list of these medical facilities can be found here.
