Statement on traffic accident occurred in Yevlakh district – Updated

25 people got into serious road traffic crash in Khaldan settlement of Yevlakh district on May 23, 2019. Two of them passed away at the scene. 21 persons with different injuries were delivered to Central Hospital of Yevlakh District, while two persons were sent to Central Hospital of Mingachevir City.

21 persons receive medical treatment in the relevant sections of Central Hospital of Yevlakh District. Two of them receives care in reanimation. The state of one of them is critical, another is in moderate condition. The majority of injured people are students, reported the hospital.

The condition of two persons delivered to the Central Hospital of Mingachevir City has been stabilized.

Computed tomography scan was performed at Central Hospital of Yevlakh District to assess the state of patient who sustained a traumatic brain injury. Due to severe condition the patient has been transferred to reanimation unit.

Two persons who received treatment at Central Hospital of Mingachevir City were already discharged.
