Increased the number of healthcare facilities contracted by the Agency

The State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance has signed contracts with 7 more healthcare providers to imrove the access to medical services covered by he Benefit Package. Therefore, the number of healthcare facilities contracted by the Agency has increased from 27 to 34.

It should be noted that, 2 550 medical services are provided to citizens within Benefit Package. These medical services are delivered in state healthcare facilities subordinated to the Administration of the Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB). If it is not possible to provide medical services in state health facilities subordinated to TABIB, a patient is issued referral to a private healthcare facility contracted by the Agency. When citizens apply to a healthcare facility contracted by the Agency based on a referral, they receive free medical services covered by Benefit Package.
