Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed

On February 23, 2022, the Chairman of the Executive Board of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance (Agency) Zaur Aliyev attended the event on the topic “Trends in the Fourth Industrial Revolution".

As part of the event, Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Agency and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Center), a public legal entity established under the auspices of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The document was signed by the Chairman of the Agency Zaur Aliyev and Executive Director of the Center Tamerlan Tagiyev.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, President of the World Economic Forum Borge Brende, Rector of the Azerbaijan State University of Economics Adalat Muradov.

The memorandum envisages the establishment of a digital healthcare platform, the implementation of joint campaign programs on digitalization of healthcare, the application of opportunities created by the Fourth Industrial Revolution in the health sector and cooperation in exploring possibilities for integration of new technologies in healthcare system.

The Center will also study the current experience in healthcare with international partners and share it with the Agency, as well as organize joint research conferences and prepare scientific articles.
