A seminar was held on the organization of public procurement

The State Service for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market under the Ministry of Economy held a seminar for the purpose of educating and informing the parties involved in public procurement. In attendance were employees of the State Agency on Mandatory Health Insurance, the Administration of Regional Medical Divisions (TABIB) and the state health facilities attached to TABİB attended the training.

Mammad Abbasbeyli, Head of the State Service, Zaur Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Agency, and Vugar Gurbanov, Acting Chairman of the Board of TABIB, spoke at the event.

In the interactive training held on the topic "Organization of public procurement: ensuring competitiveness and efficiency," information was provided on the planning, organization, and methods of public procurement, as well as the requirements for bidders' qualifications and for the evaluation and comparison of tender offers. Additionally, the participants of the event exchanged views on the results of procurement and on concluding and managing procurement contracts.
